UX Research - The wisest way to measure it

In a fledgling business, a UX designer mostly assumes the responsibility of researching UX references.
Therefore, measuring their impacts is also a part of their role.

👩🏻‍💻 My take : One of the most important qualifications for designers is analytical ability.
In this article, the writer mentioned many metrics (ROI,NPS).
Therefore, I'm going to deal with visualisation(Tableau) and analytics(PostHog) tools. 

Minor UX tips: Need to create a design system considering the following cases

Although this book explains English copywriting, It's applicable to apps using other languages, as It's based on world-standard rules.

It introduces the purpose of each buttons, and the expected user actions.

before I read it, I didn't realize the importance of either capitalisations and icons.

✅ Icons can replace wordy texts.

✅ Not every shortened words is good to sue
E.g. Using 'Delete your current project ' is better than "Delete" 

Important qualities for UXUX Designers

💡 Consider a scroll bar

• Depending on where a user clicks, a drop-down box should appear either below or above the selection.
  
  

💡 Create some units of effects

• User interfaces in apps need various effects such as hover, slide, and click.
  All of them help users understand their actions and the app scenarios, so standardising them is important.

E.g. A button = on click, B field = on hover
 

💡 Check if this country requires cookie policy

• Some countries don't require cookie acceptance by law (E.g. The Philippines).
  On the other hand, the others strictly enforce displaying a box to obtain user consent(E.g. Indonesia).

Various types of Notifications

Designers should distinguish the purpose and pick one among these types

✅ UI notifications : Popup while users interact with apps 

• tool tips, warning modals

✅In-browser push notifications : Be shown automatically to emphasise crucial information

• push alerts after acting a core functions

✅In-app notifications : Be shown inside the app to inform users during usage

• Banners at the top of apps, new alerts inside apps' noti centres

✅OS notifications : Be displayed for notifying users that the version of an app has been updated

• System dialogs, pop-ups after automatic app update

✅ Other ways instead of them : Chatbot, Email
